PARTNERSHIP WITH CHEVRON NIGERIA - DELIVERING TEXTBOOKS TO PUBLIC SCHOOLS IN NIGERIA.

The book donations initiative is one of the platforms Jewels of Africa Foundations uses to engage youths in the rural regions in Nigeria through donations of books and teaching aids (books, whiteboards, educational materials, STEM technology) to make educational functional and promote effective teaching and enrichment of middle and high schoolers with functional education to compete with their peers globally.
Chevron Nigeria is leading the way by partnering with Jewels of Africa Foundations to help distribute donated books and teaching materials to rural regions around the country.

Ending 2017 on a high note as Chevron Nigeria Limited
Renewed Its Partnership Commitment With JOA

2017 was definitely a landmark year for Jewels of Africa Foundations. The year was highlighted by JOA’s richer impact in rural Nigeria.  JOA added the Books Donations and Distribution initiative to its existing 3 ongoing projects in the country – College Preparatory Tutoring, College Scholarships and Summer Enrichment Program. This was made possible by the strong partnership engagement by Chevron NigeriaLimited(CNL) as they joined hands with JOA to donate and distribute 50,000books in total to public schools in 6 Nigeria states. Oyo, Osun, Ekiti, Ondo, Ogun and Delta States.

JOA and Chevron Nigeria renewed their partnership commitment to further position their efforts as catalyst to impact the underserved talents in rural Nigeria through education.  Mr. Brikinn Esimaje, CNL’s General Manager, Policy, Government and Public Affairs received the 2017 Partnership Award on behalf of Chevron Nigeria Limited in pictures below:
